God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be like Jesus.
This is one reason we worship, to behold His glory and be transformed by His love in our hearts.
2 Corintians 3:18, "we all show the Lord's glory, and we are being changed to be like Him"
